Welcome to SASA Special Hockey!  This is truly an exciting time to be a part of youth hockey.  We are extremely proud to offer a brand new opportunity for the hockey community.
The mission of the St. Albans Leafs is to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through increasing players’ personal development and self-confidence on and off the ice by:
Having Fun

Learning Team Work
Building Friendships
Increased Physical Activity

Our policy of inclusion allows anyone to try something they may have never thought possible.  Every player will be given the opportunity to learn to skate and develop their skills to their fullest.  We anticipate that our first year we will have many players learning to skate but we will be prepared for players to advance and adjust lessons accordingly.

ASHA LogoThe St. Albans Leafs are a proud member of the American Special Hockey Association.  ASHA proudly serves 70 special hockey organizations across the United States and represents over 3,500 registered members. Our member programs provide a variety of play levels for special hockey teams which welcome individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities to the opportunity to safely enjoy the sport of Ice Hockey.    All SASA Special Hockey members are asked to register with ASHA.  There is no cost associated with ASHA membership!  How to register for ASHA
